The two saxon vampire guards heard screeching and crashing from inside the room they were set to guard. After turning to look at each other they hear a female yell.
“Damn it, Eric! They have already left. They are not expecting to come back until the 29th.” the voice is heard as the saxons wonder what is going on. CRASH! “You … you… you…you killed my laptop…my brand new laptop!!!”
The door is opened and the viking’s head peeks out the door. “Get everyone back here now!” Then he promptly slams the door.
“How are we suppose to do that?” they stated together as they glance down the hallway where the ladies had left 5 hours ago.
“Well, hello again everyone seems Eric was impatient and decided to surprise everyone as soon as I finished the banners today.” the woman glared at him as he stood to the left holding a mangled laptop. With over 9800 votes … here are the winners…

Yes, the winners have been announced earlier than expected. I hope everyone is happy and continues the well wishes to each other. Continue to leave reviews for your authors cause I can promise the more reviews they get the more chapters you get to read. It’s a win win for everyone! I will be re-designing the site and then hopefully post the upcoming expectations for the New Blood Awards on the 29th. I hope that the veteran authors will help nominate as many new authors as possible. I will continue to do what I can to keep the fandom alive and communicating.

I would like give up winning the Eagle Eye Award to Meridian and MsBuffy who deserve it far more than I do. I used to beta for the Queen of Area Five but I truthfully cannot remember the last time I worked on one of her stories. MsBuffy does do all of her stories though. I only work on Virala’s stories and she does the same for me. Then there’s Meridian who has beta’d for many and she helps out a lot on my stories from creative ideas to looking for all those lovely grammatical mistakes when MsBuffy doesn’t have the time.
These two ladies are awesome and they both deserve to have won the Eagle Eye.

I was entertained and enthralled (and I’m sure everyone sees my tag and starts eye-rolling cause I was all spamming the comments letting everyone know I was reading and voting.). I love this fandom and I love all the talent here (whether it’s writing, editing, artsyyummy banners, even the replays to comments are endearing and fun.).

Congratulations to everyone, all very deserved. The betas all deserved to win – The way the original voting went I tried to vote for everyone. Maybe an idea for the future would be to recognise the betas behind every winning story? I’m sure all the writers would say they helped them win. It was very hard to vote for artists too – maybe they could be separated somehow into different categories?
Thank you to Robin – your humour and tireless work is very much appreciated. Of course your art should be getting an award of its own! I’m not going to wish you find Eric’s sword though – that I want for myself! Can’t believe how fast you announced the winners!
